Church was awesome yesterday. We sang some of my favorite hymns. (See above) It was also youth Sunday and it is always neat to see the youth help out in the service. It was also new member Sunday. We had 21 new members! It was awesome! Today I am thankful for my awesome church home!!!

Michael doing something on his computer and looking serious. I want to take a moment to say how proud I am of my husband. For a little over a year now my husband has been working on making a video game. And a few days ago he finally finished it. It is so amazing. I am so proud of him for working so hard and sticking with it. I know this is just the start of many amazing things that Michael is going to program  Michael I am so proud of you and I am honored to get to be by your side, cheering you on, as you do amazing things!! I love you!

Ok today we are going to do something a little different. Instead of just one picture there will be four. This is also going to be a game of guess that movie. Yesterday Mary invited me over for movie night. Michael and I had a great night with my mom, dad, aunt Deb, and Mary watching movies. Our theme for movie night was movies about music/dancing or musicals. I took pictures of the tv during the beginning part of each movie...can you guess what each movie is? This one may be a little harder. It was my first time watching this 80's classic. I did not really enjoy it which so far makes me the only person I have talked to that feels this way. Can you guess this movie?

This movie is about a small town girl in the big city and also has Tyra Banks in it. It has a lot of great songs in it. Can you guess the movie?

NC is such a pretty state. I am glad I get to live here right now. I don't where God is going to lead Michael and me next but we are both excited to follow. Maybe it will be staying right where we are or maybe it will be moving someplace far away. Whatever His plans for us are we know it will be great. Today I am thankful that God has an amazing plan in store for Michael and me!

This was the craft we made at preschool! The leaves are the kids feet and the flowers are obviously the kids hands. I think they turned out really cute. I am thankful that I have a place to try out fun craft ideas. Sorry this is so short I am super tired today.

Spring has sprung and I am sure enjoying it. Sure it is a little cold sometimes but I just keep thinking hey at least there is no snow. I mean some of the people I love dearly have had nothing but snow all spring. I keep praying actual spring will come for them soon. So I am going to dedicate this picture of pretty pink flowers to all my loved ones shivering up north. I hope you get your own flowers really soon! Today I am thankful for all the pink flowers. Pink is my favorite color and there just seems to be so many pink flowers this year!

I love this picture though you will have to look pretty close to see what it is off. It is the shadow from one of the trees outside our window. I loved the pattern it made on the wall. Today I am thankful for the sun! I also want to give to big shout outs. One is too my BFF Heidi. She lost her step Grandma today and is very sad. Please pray for her and her family during this difficult time. I love you Heidi. I am sending 1,000.000 hugs your way. The other shout out Goes to my brother-in-law Phil. In a couple of weeks he is graduating with his Masters degree! We are so proud of you Phil! We know you will be amazing at whatever comes next! Michael will be seeing you soon.

We found this little guy in front of our house on our way to church yesterday. I know I am crazy but I love slugs. I always have. When I was little I used to love letting them crawl all over my hands. I would find a few of them and have slug races. I even had a book about slugs. I still love the little guys now that I'm all grown up. Today I am thankful for slugs!!!

This is my Wii mote. I had lots of fun playing Brawl and Mario Cart with Michael. For years I have only wanted to play as pokemon trainer when I played brawl but I am now starting to try out other people and that has been a lot of fun. Plus it made my husband really happy. And making Michael happy makes me happy. Today I am thankful to God for our Wii because it is something Michael and I like to do together!

We are exploring God's creation at preschool this week. The preschoolers are having lots of fun learning about bugs, flowers, and all the other wonderful things God has made. This is one of the preschoolers showing off the worm we had found. Today I am thankful to God for worms. I loved playing with them as a kid (who am I kidding I still love playing with them as an adult.) And I love watching the faces of my preschoolers light up when they are discovering them as well!

Michael and I went to the NC zoo. We went because with all the hard things going on with my family right now (please keep praying for my family. It means more to us then you will ever know) we needed a day of fun. This is us with an animatronic dinosaur. This was a really neat exhibit that the zoo had. They moved, made noise, and some of them spit. It was really neat. Thank you God that Michael and I both had a day off together so we were able to go to the zoo.

This is me after I came home from work last night. Yesterday was a bad day. I got some bad news about a situation that has been going on in my family. I'm not going to write about it here. But please pray for my family. We really need it right now. I also had a really bad day at work. So by the time I got home last night I just felt awful. I don't usually write much about the negative things in my life. Mostly because I just like to focus on the positive. But bad days happen to everyone. If you happen to be having one today I'm sending you a hug. Things will get better just hang in there. (Spoiler today was a much better day for me. But still pray for my family. We are dealing with some serious stuff right now) So today thing I am thankful for is God, who I can lean on during those bad days and who always gets me through.

My wonderful husband made me eggs benedict! A food I have been wanting forever. It was really yummy. So today (4/8/13) has been a really bad day for me. (I will say a little more about this tomorrow.) So I want to start something new on this blog. I am going to start posting one thing I am thankful to God for (hopefully something that corresponds to the picture lol) each day. Also I am going to try not to repeat things.  I want to start doing this because it is so easy to get swept away with bad/troublesome things in life but I feel it is important to try and focus on the good. I have been so blessed by God and I want this blog to bring glory to Him. So today thing I am thankful is my amazing husband who cooks for me and is always trying to surprise me. I love you babe.

It is one of my absolute favorite things and a birthday present from my wonderful husband. I don't have a favorite book, because it would be impossible for me to choose just one, but Alice in Wonderland is definitely one of my favorites.
