We had fun with numbers day at preschool. This was counting. There were little animals hidden in the shaving cream and the kids had to count them. They LOVED it!!

We went over to mom and dad's for pizza and game night. Joanna is home for spring break and it was so nice to see her. This is a picture of Mary and my dad. I love my family!!!

On days where I have lunch breaks from work and Michael is not working we like to spend the lunch break together. One of our favorite things to do is have car picnics. This time Michael decided it would be fun to play a game after we had finished eating. It was so much fun!

We took a bunch of our games to preschool (yes those are all ours. Michael and I are big kids lol) We had so much fun playing them with the kids. I think the kids liked dressing Michael up in the Pretty Pretty Princess Jewelry the best. Michael was so sweet to play along with them. He is going to make an amazing daddy some day.

Me after getting ashes on my forehead for Ash Wednesday. I am so glad I was able to go to the church service!!! Also I have been updating this blog everyday for a month now!!!! Even I wasn't sure I would make it this long.

We took the preschoolers on a field trip to....Texas! Ok so it was actually The Texas Roadhouse. It was neat to get to tour their kitchen and see where they make the food. Plus we got to eat some roles!!!!!

We went to Pet Smart yesterday.  It was apparently nap time. This little guy walked out of his little sleeping house and promptly fell back asleep.

OK so you might have noticed that I enjoy taking pictures of trees.  There is just something so beautiful about them.  I really liked the way the sun silhouettes this one. 

Why I am doing this.

So I thought I'd take a little time to explain why I am doing the picture a day thing.  There are several reasons.
1.  I am doing this so that I make a record of everyday.  It is very easy to just get caught up in things and not stop and take time to appreciate the things in our day that cause joy.  By doing this I am creating memories each day.  Hopefully when I go back and look at the picture I will remember days that I would have otherwise forgotten about.
2.  For me taking pictures is both a way to express myself and to appreciate the world around me.  Doing this project makes me feel like I'm getting out my creative energy.  I found that my whole attitude has improved.  I have also found that I notice more around me.  I appreciate the beauty in nature more.  I find myself thanking God all the time for the beauty that surrounds me.  By using my camera I can capture just a hint of that  beauty.

3.  One and my reasons for doing this blog it is to share with all of you, who read this the way, I see the world.  I want to let you in on the memories I'm making.  I want to show you some of the beauty I see around to me every day.  I went to let you in on my life, even if it's just one picture of what my day was like.
4.  I am also working on improving my photography skills.  Photography is a hobby that I really enjoy doing.  So this project gets me out there doing what I love.

Yesterday was a recovery day for me.  I have been sick and yesterday was about resting and letting the medicine the doctor gave me work. This is my Nook and my Disney Princess build a bear. The bear was my Valentine's present from Michael. (If you recall we decided to give them to each other really early this year.)
