No computer days

Tomorrow Michael and I will be celebrating Thanksgiving.  Yes I am aware that this is a full 2 days before the rest of the country. We are doing this because Michael will be working most of Thanksgiving. Work is also what keeps us from being with either of our families on this holiday that is usually spent in the company of the people you love. While I was sad about both of these facts for a little while I am bound and determined to make the most of it and still have a great Thanksgiving even if it is going to be 2 days early.  I will talk more about our Thanksgiving after we celebrate it. Today though I want to talk to you about something Michael and I like to do sometimes: No Computer days.

Both Michael and I are on our computers a lot. It is the way we relax, play, keep in touch with family, and work as well. My husband is going into computer science and I enjoy being on mine a lot. We are both introverts so it works for us to be on our computers a lot. We still have plenty of quality time with each other though it is probably not the way a lot of extroverts would do it. Still sometimes it is nice (and important) for us to get away from our computers and just enjoy each other company. We usually do this in one of two ways. The first is going out somewhere. We have a lot of great memories from our adventures. Sometimes that means going out on a date for a few hours, sometimes that is a day trip, and sometimes that means a longer trip. The other way we do this is "no computer time" Sometime this last for an hour or so, but other times we make it a no computer day. I enjoy these days because it means lots of games being played or other exciting things going on. They are always fun. Last year we made Thanksgiving one of those days and that is a tradition we are doing again this year. So they will not be a blog from me tomorrow. I will be spending the day with my husband being thankful to God for all the many blessings he has given us. There will be lots of laughs and fun and a ton of pictures that I will share with you either on Wednesday or on actual  Thanksgiving when I'm home by myself.
See you then.
Love,
Suzi

A new beginning.

So I have decided to start a new blog. I am not going to promise that I will write on this one any more then I did my last one. I just know that writing is something I enjoy doing. Life can get in the way of doing that sometimes though. But I am going to try and fill this blog with all the things in this world that I love and probably a few things I hate as well. I need a place where I can write things they way I see them. A place where I fell comfortable letting my voice be heard. Because I have got a lot to say but too often I find myself not saying it. (Ok so that isn't completely true. I tell my husband most everything.) I don't know if anyone will read this blog and in the end that doesn't really matter. I'm not really writing this for anybody, though I am very happy if you choose to read, this is something I am doing for myself.
So I guess now I should introduce myself. I am Suzi. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world, Michael. You will probably hear his name mentioned a lot in this blog. I am currently working 2 jobs one as a preschool teacher and the other as a cashier. I really want to be a stay at home wife and someday mother but my wonderful husband is still going through college and I am helping get him through. It's not always an easy life but it is our life and it is wonderful.  I love animals, watching tv, movies and singing. I am a Christian and I am proud to say that Jesus Christ is the most important thing in my life. I love taking pictures and I really hope to keep improving my skill in this area. Someday I hope to be able to have one of those big fancy expensive cameras that make it even easier to take wonderful pictures. But that is a dream for the future and right now I am happy with my little digital camera.  I think it is pretty much impossible to write a complete description of myself in a blog post so we will let this blog do that better over time.
If you are actually reading this welcome. I am glad you have decided to come and see a piece of my world. This blog is very much a work in progress and I hope that I can keep using it. It really is good for me. Feel free to leave a comment if you want. Then you can be a part of this blog too. I'll sign of the way I always do.
Love,
Suzi
